In the spirit of the warmblood breed logos, OTTB Designs has created a logo for off track thoroughbreds. The saddle pads with the OTTB logo are just beautiful. Taking it a step further, OTTB Designs recently had a contest on their facebook page in which ottb owners submitted “before” and “after” pictures of their horses. The album is amazing, some of the transformations are just incredible! I was very happy when I saw that they are going to keep that album, and continue adding pictures to it even though the contest is over. The album is now a showcase of beautiful thoroughbreds, and although it appears that some had fallen into unfortunate circumstances before finding their owners, they have blossomed in all different disciplines. It is great to see the versatility of the breed, and the huge heart these horses have to undergo such fabulous transformations!
Here’s the logo on my beautiful new show pad:

(Of course Liam and Remy both entered the competition, still waiting to hear who the winner is!!)
Oh lala where did you get the saddle pad? I just found the facebook page a little bit ago.
Click above where it says “saddle pads with the ottb logo” or type in http://www.ottbdesigns.com
They are beautiful, aren’t they??
I ordered a dressage saddle pad (the first ones were all purpose) and it is LOVELY. Very “cushy” and elegant looking. Worth the money, methinks. And certainly for a VERY worthy cause.
Also, the gallery: Amazing transformations–some SO stark it was difficult to tell I was looking at the same horse, particularly the skinny gray that was so much lighter (but heavier ;o) in the “after” picture.
Good luck with the contest! Hope you win first AND second prize–or get tied for first. Wouldn’t THAT be great??
I am so happy to hear that you like your new OTTB Dressage Pad! Thank you for blogging about it and helping spread the word about how awesome OTTBs are!
